Mission: A Day in the Life
Location: Waste Management Centre
Timeline: Two Days Prior to current

OOC: This follows a joint post I'm doing with Captain Von, since she's with her family, I'm continuing part 2. The stench should be working it's way right through the starbase. This post takes place two days before the PT post & the worm discovery post.

Authors: Mad Maddi & Cascade Williams

She, Mad Maddi was very glad she was enclosed in her special non-atmo all purpose Defensive Offensive suit (referred to an Non-Atmo) as she stood near the Waste Management Centre. The door had blown off and lay blocking part of the coridoor, forcing the brown, yellow and red speckled faeces to flow in the opposite direction, strait for the middle level of the Waste Reclamation System, several Turbolifts and their shafts, and everything down from the level the Waste Management Centre was on, which included, Primary Environmental Control, Middle Shuttlebay and Control Room, Shuttle Storage, Shuttle Maintenance and Repair, Shuttlebay Fusion Reactors 6-11, Heavy Repairs Section, Support Craft Fabrication, Reactant Storage, Middle Shuttlebay Power Distribution Network, Internal Power Transfer Conduits, Upper Internal Tractor Emitters, Observation Areas, Primary Forcefield Generators 25-27, Deuterium Storage, Antimatter Tanks, Engineering Support Labs, Auxiliary Operations (OPS IV), Lower Shuttlebay and Control Room, Shuttle Storage, Shuttle Maintenance and Repair, Shuttlebay Fusion Reactors 12-17, Reactant Storage, Lower Internal Tractor Emitters, Observation Areas, Primary Forcefield Generators 28-30, Tractor Beam Control, Generators and Emitters (Middle), Lower Shuttlebay Power Distribution Network, Internal Power Transfer Conduits, Medical Bays 11 & 12, Cargo Bays 351-450, Cargo Transporters 161-200, Transporter Rooms 110-129, Emergency Batteries, Replicator Stock Storage 17-26, Industrial Replicators 116-205, Engineering Support Labs, Weapons Storage, Secondary Environmental Controls (Middle) VIP/Guest Quarters, Civilian Quarters, Medical Bays 13-16, Holosuites 101-170, Transporter Rooms 130-139, Auxiliary Environmental Control (Middle), Secondary Shield Generators (Middle), and the Emergency Transporters. How far it had gotten was only going to be know once she took a climb down the Turbolift shafts and a ride in the effected Turbolifts.

Stepping over the door and into the brown overflow, she headed towards the effected Turbolifts, just as a figure shimmered in the corner.

“If you're not in an isolation suit, beam out.” Mad instructed as more of the Damage Control Engineers, and people wearing isolation suits appeared behind them.

Cascade remembered the words, don't call her Maddison, it's Mad, Maddi or Black. “I'm Station Maintenance chief Cascade Williams, knick named by friends as Maintenance, I thought you might use some extra hands, though I have to say I wasn't expecting this.”

“Do you want to see how far this river of crap has gone, down the TL shafts and the TL's themselves, or do you want to take the faeces storage chamber and see what's blocking the process?” She knew which one she'd take.

“We'll take the river.” Cascade answered.

Mad waved the suited DCEr's into the Waste Management Centre. “Scoop it up, collect the ones wiggling, and stick them into the barrels, until I find what's blocking the holding tank.” It wasn't something she appreciated but she was trained in waste management, so she started shovelling out what hadn't come out under pressure, allowing her small suited frame to ease into the faeces holding tank, which was the first part of the organic process which separated the faeces from the urine, allowing the faeces to then go into the incinerator.
