A Mission Post by Lieutenant Maddison (Prefers Mad or Maddi) Black & Chief Warrant Officer Vortai Gotte & Vetlya Derkarba M.D.
Mission: A Day in the Life
Location: Waste Management Centre
Timeline: Two Days Prior to current - twenty minutes after part 2

OOC: I couldn't find the CEO, so added a character linked to him. I included all playing characters, just incase anyone wanted to join in, if not remove your name and you shall not be bothered again on this topic. I figured some might be interested giving the blockage.

Cascade & Mad
Poo part 3

Waste Management Centre

Mad gave up shoving the brown stuff out of the faeces holding capsule and started doing it by hand, cursing long and hard when she spotted a tangle of nappies, pulling out the roll of bags, she pushed the first of the tangle into the bag, yanking the mass forward.

“Damn, what the........” The cursing went through the roof.

“Do we have a problem?” Cascade asked appearing at her side, in connection to the cursing, watching as Mad pulled another two nappies from the tangle. “Which stupid idiot puts nappies and toys...” She spotted a large stuffed elephant near the tangled mass, and grabbed a bag of Mad, and grabbed the elephant stuffing it into the bag and sealing it, adding it to the bags on the top of the faeces holding capsule, then stopped.

“Oh Sweet Jesus.”

“What?” Mad turned her head away from the truck she was zipping into another bag and looked in Cascade's direction.

“Stop. Everyone stop! This is now a crime scene.” Her eyes didn't move, and when Mad's curse went through the roof and several floors above, she knew she'd seen what she had.

Mad touched her protected commbadge, eyes still on what they had found as the main cause of the blockage. -/\- Damage Control Specialist Black to Lieutenant Commander Talia Varen, Lieutenant Commander David Deschanel M.D. , Lieutenant Commander Marit Lantry M.D., Ensign Jenna Steel, Lieutenant Scott Russell, Captain Liarra Von, Commander Leonardo Luciano, Lieutenant Commander Walter Prescott, Commander Titus Livius Drusus ,Lieutenant JG Erin Whitlam PhD, Lieutenant Commander Solan Jekkar, Warrant Officer Marcus Lazlo, Chief Warrant Officer Vortai Gotte , Vetlya Derkarba M.D, Admiral Emily Quinn, Rear Admiral Richard Gates and the Chief Engineering Officer urgently required to the Waste Management Centre, full isolation suits required. -/\-

OOC: Could not find who was the CEO.

“Are we moving......” One of the Damage Control Engineers peered in at the back of the baby, apart from the slight covering of reddish blonde hair, and the smooth markless skin, there was noway to tell if it was male or female.

OOC: Yep you read right, it's a baby

“No,” Both Mad and Cascade chorused.

“This is now a crime scene, so shovel that crap away from the crap holding capsule and make sure the incinerator is off.” Cascade instructor.

“Shut down all Turbolifts from here down and lock off all Transporters. Access to this level and all levels below are on lockdown.” Mad added. “Everyone that was in here move to the far side, everyone that wasn't stay where you are now and don't pick up anymore crap, not until we're cleared to do so.”

“Who in heaven's bells could chuck a baby down the sewerage system?” One of the Maintenance staff asked from the corner of the waste management centre.

“How in blazes did it fit?” Another wanted to know.

“Can't you give it a little respect?” Another DCE asked. “Surely there's another way it got in there?”

“Not at that size.” Cascade answered. “It seems intact.”

“Believe me, you can open the toilet top and get a hell of a lot of things...” She held up the toy truck. “And that's not the only things I've found.” Entering her code, she shut down the toilets, all of the toilets on the starbase. The last thing Crime Scene and Forensics was going to want was freshly flushed faeces ontop of the baby.

Jenna had luckily only been a few decks away from the call when it had come in. She'd been dealing with a case of vomitting, so had her kit bag, as well as a colleague with her. They had quickly headed to the decon room and changed into their suits, before heading towards the call. They walked in to discover they were first on scene. She walked over to the person who looked to be in charge. "What's going on?" She asked, surveying the room and tapping her commbadge. "Steel to dispatch, myself and my colleague are on scene, will send details once we know more." She said to the dispatcher, not expecting a reply.

Mad didn't bother holding out a poo covered hand. "Something blocked the faeces holding tank, we cleared out some it the crap and found what was blocking it. We got several nappies, and a toy truck, then we found this." Mad moved out of the way so the newcomer could see, what else they found.

"Holy...." Jenna muttered, her mouth hanging open. Within a few seconds though her training kicked in, and she walked hurriedly over to the body. "Come on, come on, be nice to me, for once." She muttered to herself. She carefully took a few observations from the child before standing and turning around. She shook her head and sighed. "Steel to Dispatch, I have one patient, Male, approximately 2 months of age, no signs of life, think this one may be gone, I need a Doctor and Crime Scene Investigation down here asap." She turned to look at the person in charge. "You sealed the area off right?" She asked.

"Totally." Cascade answered. "Including letting the poo drip down the nearby turbolift shafts and the turbolifts themselves. We hadn't quite worked out how far the poo had dropped. Cascade, Station Maintenance Chief. "We also stopped shovelling, incase you or crime scene wanted to inspect the poo for evidence. You realise you're going to have climb into the faeces holding tank to retrieve the body, and since it's not at the point of the blockage, we don't know what else is in there, there could be another one or three further in, not to mention more nappies, and kids toys. Watch for hypo's and weapons, people use the sewerage to get rid of things, they think they all go straight to the incinerator instead of separating and leaving it for us to sort."

Jenna pulled out a medical tricorder from a pouch on her waist and scanned the chute. "Not getting any readings of anymore bio signatures, which hopefully means no bodies. I'll leave the murder weapons and such till CSI gets here. That's more their department. We'll have to keep everyone here till it's all done though!" She said.

"So, since we're not going anywhere, I'm Cascade, that's Mad, she DCE...."

"Among other things, and you are?" Mad asked. "I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but your tricorder might not be getting the true readings, as the faeces capsule and the waste management centre as a whole interferes with the readings, add whatever is actually blocking the faeces capsule, may have something to do with all the blood, red that's on the right wall. I'm not medical however, since we shut down all the toilets to stop fresh crap adding to the mess, either you're going to have to move the kid, so either Maintenance or me can crawl in here before you have pure chaos as people need to empty their butts." Mad stated. "I'm not waiting for crime scene for much longer, given the number of people on this base, we need to turn those toilets back on and that means screwing your crime scene."

Jenna sighed quietly to her self. If they couldn’t maintain a crime scene then they were going to have to recover what they could. “Jenna Steel, lead paramedic for starbase 332. How many people can you fit in the capsule at a time?” Jenna asked, trying to formulate a plan. “If we can get 2 people in there to clear out whatever then we can at least keep those bits for CSI...how long can you keep the bogs offline for?” She asked.

"Depends on the size of the people." Cascade answered.

"You and me." Mad answered, "Maintenance can have her people and mine shovel up everything else and barrel it for CSI. I can keep the toilets offline for as long as necessary, until either the CO or the CEO yell, however if you get your CSI or security chief down here and they explain to the CO and CEO you may get them to stay off longer." Mad answered

Jenna tapped her commbadge again. "Steel to Lieutenant Commander Jekkar, I need your assistance in the Waste Management Center ASAP please." She said. "Right, come on then, lets get in there till someone gets down here." She replied, activating the light on her wrist and stepping forward.

Mad grabbed Jenna by the waist and lifted her up and into the chamber, then followed. "Don't worry about shovels, just push the stuff backwards, I've got bags, if you find something you want to keep, like the two dolls." Mad ripped a bag from the roll and pushed the dolls inside then handed them back to Maintenance, before pushing more crap, the brown stuff, backwards. Because the inside was still filled with crap, everytime they pushed some backwards, more flowed from the packed pile down onto Jenna and Mad, revealing more non crap items. Mad grabbed the bright red material and held it up. "Well someone's evening didn't go well." She pushed the evening dress into another bag, something metal touching metal made a chime. "Somewhere on your side, search carefully, Mad handed her a bag, as she continued sweeping crap backwards.

Jenna started looking around for the source of the sound, pushing more crap back. She sighted the object per chance thanks to her flashlight. "Got it! I'm not sure what it is, but I got it." She ripped a bag off and put the item in, then passed it backwards and kept looking. "Looks like people flush alot of non-crappy things here..." She said so only mads could hear it.

"People think sewerage goes straight to the incinerator. When actually the system separates urine and blood from the crap. The urine gets recycled and sterilised and becomes water, the blood gets sterilised and we bag it, then it goes back to medical, the pipes are too small to let anything else through, everything else comes into the crap bin. You have people who have things to hide, then you have parents with kids in nappies who flush the nappies, the kids soon learn they can watch things disappear by doing the same as mum or dad. Toys, weapons, clothing, body parts, medical equipment, engineering parts, uniforms, food, vomit, drugs, wedding rings, or other jewellery, photos, toiletries, Rank insignia's, then you have those who deliberately want to block the chamber, a live bomb, but while I've had body parts belonging to two adults, I've never had a baby." She snagged a dummy and a rattle, bagging them and passing them back.

"Someone needs to have a talk with the families onboard who have kids." Cascade was collecting the bags that were sent backwards.

"Won't be me, I'm just a lowly DCE." Mad answered. "Everyone on the stations needs to be told things here don't go to the incinerator, we separate them and they go to CSI." Mad pulled out another bag and started loading empty tins, cans, jars and other food containers into the bag."Looks like someone had a feast." Sliding passed the baby, and pushing past, she pushed more crap backwards so Cascade could sweep it into another barrel, she had no idea how many barrel's had been filled so far, but she was close to the jam. "You'd better grab the kid, when I clear this jam whatever is behind it is going to flood the capsule and may push everything including the two of us out." Someone had stuffed a duffel bag partially filled with something, and Mad was sure it hadn't been shoved down the toilet, it had to have been put into one of the entries to the waste management system directly and one that lead into the crap capsule. Yanking the bag and pulling it through the opening, everything still inside the capsule, including the baby, Jenna, Mad the bag, dirty nappies, kids toys, several weapons, some clothing, more tins of food, a sheet wrapped around something, several different size bags of what Mad identified as Ponica Pellets, and more bags with smaller filled bags inside, two holoprogrammed photo frames, a bag filled with PADDs, a pile of hypo vials, several first aid kits, an engineering toolbelt still with tools, several rank insignia's, and what appeared to be part of a wall, went sliding backwards, Mad and Jenna slamming into the wall, the duffle bag splitting open to reveal adult body parts, and the sheet opened revealing a set of male genitals. Mad grabbed Jenna and pushed her out of the way as the piece of wall came flying out, Mad pushed the wall off her, her BDOP specialist suit protecting her from the piece of wall.

Jenna was pushed away by Mad and saw the wall land on her as well as the bag split. “What the...” she muttered.

"Holy Heck." Cascade looked at the carnage. "One baby, body parts from an adult, and a full adult male.....Ah cancel that, he's got no head. But where the heck did the wall piece come from?"

"I'm more worried that whoever is doing the killing has removed a section and stuffed something inside. Has to have come from an area that isn't public or it would have been noticed."

"Do you know how many floors there are here?"

"2500." Mad answered, and a hell of a lot of non public places, it's not a turbolift shaft wall, nor is it a vent or a JT sector. If they hid organic matter, depending on how long it had been there it should have began to decompose, and stink, so it's gotta be somewhere where people don't go very much."

"Or has a stink of it's own." Cascade answered. "Are you okay?" She asked Jenna.

“Yeah just fine...a little shocked. But fine...who could do this?” She asked. “And where the bloody hell is CSI?”

"Probably busy elsewhere." Cascade answered.
