Description | Security CentreView Full Size.BullpenThe Bullpen is the heartbeat of the Security Centre. There is a desk for each individual section chief, as well as the Assistant Chief and Master-at-Arms which features three large screens, allowing them to monitor ongoing events in their section remotely. The Bullpen is designed to mimic the feel of an 'old world' police station and allow investigators to communicate with one another and share ideas. Chief of Security's OfficeThe Chief of Security's Office sits in a circular glass 'bubble' in the middle of the Security Centre's Bullpen. Featuring the ability to rotate, the office is designed to give a full view of what is going on within the centre. It also houses a plush desk and chair along with a number of storage solutions which line the walls to around waist height.Interrogation RoomsThe Security Centre features four interrogation rooms which can be used to questions suspects and hold witnesses while they wait to be seen.Security Ready RoomThe security ready room features replicators and comfortable chairs and tables. It is designed primarily as a relaxation space for the officers based there but can be used as a makeshift bunk room during particularly strenuous cases. Makeshift 'bunks' fold out from the walls and from the central separator which crosses the centre of the room.ArmouryThe Primary Armoury holds most of the non-standard weaponry available to Starfleet's Security Stations. It should be noted that there are also smaller, secondary armouries in the section centres of the station, allowing fast access to weaponry for security officers unable to quickly access Deck 13.BrigBoasting 20 cells, the Brig on Deck 13 is the primary one on Starbase 332. While it has a relatively low number of cells versus the station's population, it is not intended as a prison but more as a holding facility for prisoners who are then sent on to Cestus III for trial.Firing RangeThe Firing Range consists of 2x standard ten lane firing ranges along with a small '360 Pod' which allows security personnel to test themselves against the station's computer to detect and eliminate threats on a 360º basis.Elsewhere On The Station• The Crime Scene Unit are based in Science Labs 17-20 on Deck 98.• Each of the five sections have security centres of their own which include large ready spaces for security personnel, two brig cells and a smaller firing range. These allow security personnel to move faster to call-outs. |
