Medical Supply Run

First officer's log stardate 71162.5, the USS Carthage has just departed Starbase 332 to rendezvous with the USS Blackwell to escort and unload medical supplies to City Alpha Seven. The planet has been devastated for a plague that seemed route from the plant life, we have been informed by Starfleet Science that all of the particular flora has been destroyed. I'm in command as Captain Vonn has stayed behind to run the starbase, the Carthage is running on a skeleton crew however we do not anticipate any problems.

First officer's log stardate 71233.7, the ship has been in orbit around City Alpha Seven for a month now, what was a routine supply run has become an even bigger problem. The atmospheric conditions have seemed to worsen, we have received orders to evacute all 3400 residents, however we are not able to use our transporter or send a shuttle because of the heavy storms. We are continuing to monitor any break in weather conditions.

First officer's log stardate 71244.4, the storms on City Alpha Seven have ceased however there is still significant damage more than there was before, however there's nothing more that we can do. The Carthage, has been ordered by Captain Wellington the USS Reynolds to head back to Starbase 332.

First officer's log stardate 71247.5, we have finally reached Starbase 332 the crew and I are glad to be back to the Starbase. The ship will have some repairs to be done, however we now wait for our next assignment I will have a meeting with the captain soon as possible to debrief her on the situation.
