Sean raised an eyebrow when he wanted to check with the Executive Officer. He had just found out the the CO,XO and Commander Prax left the station a while ago. It was his own fault he was busy with working together with the marines and his own department to pay that much attention to who was actually running the station. The last time he spoke with anybody in command red was when he was promoted and assigned to the Metis.

He opened a comm to Cestus III after a few moments after making clear to the comm officer on the station that he was the Chief of Security and needed a line to Commander Von who was on Cestus III he finally, after a few minutes, got some officer on that planet. Who asked him what he wanted.

"I am Lieutenant Sean O'Connell, Chief of Security Starbase 332. wishing to be connected to Commander Liarra Von who is currently on Cestus III. " Sean sat back in his chair trying to hide his aggravation.

"We currently have no Commander Von assigned to Cestus III, sir, she is currently the Executive Officer on Starbase 332 i think we have a communication error, let me connect you through to Starbase 332 The Comm officer of Pike city quickly connected O'Connell through to Starbase 332

Before Sean could reply he was staring at the Comm officer of Starbase 332 who looked amazed and wondered why O'Connell would use a comm line. Sean who had by this time almost gave up hope explained again and then after yet a few more minutes was staring at the Comm officer on Cestus III. After explaining to the officer that Commander Von was on the planet and that the Csec of SB 332 need to talk to her. After being given a bureaucratic run around he was finally connected through.

"Commander Von, I have a Lieutenant O'Connell for you on subspace from Starbase 332, besides having been called a few names in a language I do not know, he seems adamant that he needs to talk to you. I have cleared the comm to a console near any location you are, ma'am." The comm officer said as she cleared the channel for Von.

Liarra still had some time between briefings, having survived the first onslaught. She sighed at the hail, realizing that being lightyears away still didn't keep her from taking care of things on the station. She tapped her commbadge. "Thank you. I'll take the call here." She moved over to the closest comm panel and put in her credentials. "Von here. What's the problem, Lieutenant?"

"Sean O'Connell, had hoped our first tete-a-tete would be on the station. We might have a small issue brewing." Sean sat back in his chair and looked at the small viewscreen. "As of late we had some issues with the lower cargobays, thefts, sabotage and vandalism. Now as I only arrived shortly on the station I wanted to know if you had any idea where is must start my search."

Liarra thought for a moment. It had been a long time, or at least it felt like a long time, since she had to deal with security matters like that. Even then, she never ran security on a spacestation, and undertaking that she was very glad to let O'Connell deal with. Still, she thought about what she did know based on her time as the strategic operations chief. "Let's see, Lieutenant. There could be a number of factions that could be involved, depending on the nature of the issues you've seen. I've seen reports ranging anywhere from kids to members of the Vinarian or Orion Syndicates. You might want to check travel logs and see who has arrived on the station since your incidents occurred. That might link you to some traders or other passengers. In the worst case, the Sojourners or Ritorians could be behind it. If your investigation starts leading you in that direction, I would get the intelligence department involved."

"Understood I'll have a look at that bar on the lower decks, might ruffle some feathers. I'll have my staff check on the travel logs. I already sent my senior NCO and Senior Warrant officer to check out what's being going on. I feel we might have some criminal syndicate running a play book checking out how i will react to certain issues." Sean had already started checking the travel logs and known criminal on the station. "I have a bad feeling about this, how long till you and the CO will be back?"

"I'm not sure. It depends on how long the admirals want to ask questions. Just don't get to far in over your head, Lieutenant. Security on the station is your priority. If it starts looking like there are bigger players involved, get with strategic operations. Security of the sector and coordination with Starfleet assets are their responsibility. Keep me posted on what you find."
