| Personal History | Kemara was born on Betazed in the Capital of Rixx, to parents Kestro and Duselda. Her upbringing was mostly traditional. She and her family spent a lot of time together at the Ral family's residence on the coast of the Opal Sea on Betazed. He childhood was a string of parties and galas, all put on by the Fifth House of Betazed. While she was at school, she met the boy who would become her first husband, Lek. He was a godlike man, even in his younger years. He was handsome by most standards, and muscular, and to top it off, he was kind. The pair married quite young, at just 19 and 20 (Earth Years) respectively. Together they had Three daughters; Lwazanda, Lewella, and Rwendra. Even after the birth of their three children, Kemarra found there was little joy in the relationship anymore. Yes she loved her dasughters, and together they were a virtually perfect family, but Kemarra wanted more. She and Lek had their marriage dissolved by the Council of Rixx, and went their separate ways. Following the dissolution of the marriage, Rwendra, the youngest daughter, fell ill with a case of Zanthi Fever.Kemarra did everything she could to have her pull through. Zanthi Fever generally attacks Betazoids entering their antiquity, and it was due to a minor irregularity in her seratonin levels that it affected the young Rwendra. The disease left Rwendra's paracortex ravaged. This left her without most of the typical Betazoid abilities. After the excitment and heartache of Rwendra's illness, Kemarra met Miyno. And before long, the two got married. Miyno brought passion to the table and a caring persona making him ideal to help raise the girls. Kemarra and Miyno had a son together, Kestro. But before long, both Kemarra and Miyno were left wanting more in their life. Kemarra filled her void by returning to school, Miyno filled his with other women. Before long Kemarra found herself out of her second marriage. With four children, Kemarra decided that perhaps she didn't need a man in her life and instead focused on school and her children.At the University of Betazed Kemarra studied Intergalactic Relations and Languages. After several years of school, she found work on the Council of Rixx, the ruling body of Betazed. She had always loved engaging with different races, and to be able to do that and serve her people. She joined the Council of Rixx as the Fifth House Representative. Throughout the years, she served the Council in a number of roles; Council Secuirty Advisor, External Relations Secretary, etc. During her time, she saw all of her children go one to their adult lives. One in Starfleet,one as a teacher, and two following her into politics. Eventually, Kemara rose to the office of Presider of the Council of Rixx, the official leader of the council and head of the Betazoid Government. She served her people in that capacity for two realtively successful terms, the maximum allowed for a Presider. She graciously stepped down, back into her role as council member. The new Presider, an old friend of Kemarra's, moved to appoint her as the Councilor for Betazed on the Federation Council. Kemarra accepted, and was replace on the Council of Rixx. She immediately relocted to Earth Now in the political Big League, Kemarra positioned herself to succeed. She eventually elevated to the post Chairman of the Council. She met a Vulcan man named T'Lor, who served the Council as an Ambassador. They soon married. The two shared a mutual fascination for music and dance. Upon retiring from the Federation Council, Kemarra returned to Betazed and the Council of Rixx but only for a short time before retiring for good. She packed up her life on Betazed, and made the move to Starbase 332. It was always on her bucket list to live on a station. Retirement afforded her the opportunity. As T'Lor was still actively serving until his retirement, Kemarra moved alone. |
