| General Overview | Zev is intensely curious, talkative, and charming. He has a thirst for exploring everything the galaxy has to offer. He enjoys getting to know people and learning new things. He is generally the person that really will try anything once. That being said, Zev has a hard time sometimes retraining himself, the Unkari pride themselves on brutal honesty, something he is still adjusting to in Starfleet. | |
| Strengths & Weaknesses | Zev has a keen tactical mind and a high degree of spacial awareness. The time he spent in the Dragoons (Unkari Special Forces) have honed his hand to hand combat skills as well as his marksmenship. That being said, he struggles with some of the other sciences, including biology and anything medically related. He can also become entirely fixated on a project, prompting him to forget to do things like eat, sleep, or even bathe on occasion. |

| Personal History | Zev was born on the Unkari homeworld (Unkari Prime) to parents that were both involved in the Imperial Navy. His father was an engineer and his mother a starship designer. Like all Unkari, Zev began studying martial arts at a young age. He also became fascinated with anything that moved fast, much to the annoyance of his parents. He often had a habit of riding around on his hoverbike at what most sane people would call reckless speeds. When Zev was nine years old, he started attending a special pre-military school on Unkari Prime, grooming him for eventual admission into the Dragoons (Unkari Special Forces.) Eventually, this lead to his entrance into The Praxeum, an elite training program designed to further evaluate and train those that might eventually make it into the Dragoons. While at school, Zev proved himself to be a diligent and hardworking student. He excelled in manners related to tactical maneuvering and combat, although he often struggled with the sciences. He had no problem grasping such subjects as warp theory, although anything biological seemed to elude him. He often sought help from his other classmates and even failed basic first aid, twice. Unkari mature much faster than humans, so by the time that he graduated at the age of 16, Zev was already versed in the arts of combat. He was recruited for the Dragoons and initially ended up on an assault team. Zev spent the next three years in training with the Dragoons. When he first went active, most of his missions were deemed classified. From the age of nineteen to 21, Zev was a Dragoon and saw action on numerous worlds. The Unkari Empire often clashed with the Dominion and Zev found himself fighting the Jem’Hadar more than once. During his time with the Dragoons, Zev met several officers from the USS Omaha, including August Drake. The two struck up a friendship and Zev fell in love with the idea of soaring through space, seeking out new life and civilizations. Although he enjoyed his time as a Dragoon, the thought of flying to the far ends of the known universe was far more appealing. Zev resigned from the Dragoons and enrolled in Starfleet. When Zev first came to the academy he had a difficult time adjusting. The Unkari pride themselves on brutal honesty, a quality that Zev often found most humanoid species weren’t all that used too. He found himself getting along well with Vulcans and Andorians but humans often found him brash and somewhat arrogant, at least until they got to know him. Zev was on the academy gymnastics team as well as the archery team. He quickly climbed the ranks of his class, setting a new record in several piloting simulators. He continued to shine academically in most areas, although again he had to seek help for most of the other sciences. Zev graduated in the top 10% of his class. |

| Service Record | Zev’s first assignment was aboard the USS Hamill, a Steamrunner class frigate. He enjoyed the ship and her crew. During one of their first missions the Hamill was attacked by Orion Raiders and the chief tactical officer killed. Luckily, Zev's fast thinking allowed the Hamill to escape. This earned him the position of Assistant Chief Tactical Officer. After another year, Zev requested a transfer to Starbase 332 after seeing that they had an opening in their Strategic Operations Department. |
