| General Overview | Hadasah is curious, outgoing, and can not bring her self to abandon a mystery or leave a job half done. | Personal History | Hadasa was born in a small village on Earth known as Bar Yohai in the extreme Northern part of Israel. He family was very traditional, and conservative, so her days were filled from a young age with lessons in keeping a home, etiquette, and propriety. She hated this life. She wanted to be with her brothers in the library with their father, but that of course was never allowed. When she was 12, she had a traditional Bat Mitzvah, and was informed of the marriage her Father had arranged for her, to take place on her 18th birthday. When she heard this news, she ran to her room, locked the door, and wept for several hours. She wanted nothing more than to run away, but knew there was no where on Earth she could hide from her Abba and his connections. The next few years were spent walking, half hearted, through the motions of what was expected of her, all the while, her mind was seeking an escape route. She and a group of friends in similar situations often hid in an unused building near their homes, and would use the time to secretly study various academic topics. It was partly out of curiosity, and partly because they knew it was forbidden and that made it all the more exciting. Two weeks before her 18th birthday, under completely false pretenses, she traveled with a group of friends to visit a cousin in California. The friends and the cousin were all in on the plan. They distracted her Uncle while she sneaked away and made her way to Starfleet Academy in San Francisco. Using a forged signature of her Father on the permission letter, she applied for entrance. The secret studying she had done allowed her to pass the exams, and the years of hard work she had endured as a child allowed her to score very near the top of her group in the physical examinations. |
