| Personal History | Gabriel was born to Lirsek Arro and Lirsek Johanna (nee Dawn) on the U.S.S. Brisbane, a Galaxy class cruiser, shortly before the discovery of the Dominion threat in 2371. After his birth, his mother was reassigned to Utopia Planitia Shipyards and the three of them moved to Mars. On Mars, Gabriel didn't have many other children to play with and turned to the Holosuites in the colony to entertain himself. These holosuite adventures fostered his interest in older technology and starships in general. When he was 14 years old, his father died from complications due to injuries accumulated from his days as a Bajoran resistance member, causing Gabriel to bury himself further into his spare parts and holonovels. To help him cope, his mother started to bring him to the shipyards to see the ships and distract him. These constant trips helped keep his mind occupied while furthering his understanding of the ships. A couple of years later, Gabriel began attending Starfleet academy, taking a training cruise on the Brisbane his senior year. He graduated in 2392 in the operations tract as an Ensign. | |
