| Personal History | Athena Skylark came into existence nineteen years ago when she first landed the part of Hailey Steinfeld on the science-fiction series that turned out with the name of 'Hailey's Comets' with her starring as the leading role of Hailey Steinfield, a young girl in the 2040s whose family was sent out to the Oort Cloud of Earth to investigate the origins of the star system. Her agent had suggested that she use another name to keep everyone from mobbing her, so she chose the name of her favorite Greek goddess, Athena, and the name of the street she lived on: Skylark Drive. Thus was Athena Skylark born, hair dark as the night, . Juggling school and her acting, Athena embraced her new life, finding that she could quickly and easily change accents, walking styles and even her base mannerisms. After the series finale of 'Hailey's Comets', she went and began auditioning for movies, rapidly gaining fame with such hits as 'Dakota Crossing', 'Commander Harrington' and even attaining one of the James Bond girl roles that even now were popular. It was when she was 22 that Athena landed the fictional role of 'herself', Athena Skylark, but 'back' a couple decades, a woman whose fiancee had shipped out during the Dominion War and never come back. Athena was a singer that primarily sang country music, but throughout the film, faced the crushing blow of her fiancee being killed in one of the battles of the War and her journey back to stardom. Athena promoted the movie with a six-month singing tour of the planet and fell in love with the character and herself in that role. Continuing to perform as a singer even after the movie came out, Athena Skylark starred in a couple more movies that while wonderful, just didn't hold her captivity anymore. Then came the movie 'Pride of the Galactic Core', a movie that had begun, but then never was finished as half of the cast fell into scandal. While not accused herself, Athena Skylark still was splashed with the scandal and at just short of 25, she seemed to vanish into thin air, coming out occasionally in seemingly random places for an impromptu singing performance before dropping off the map again. Finally, she showed up on Starbase 332, again seemingly randomly, but with the clear intent to stick around for a while and booking several performances on the station. |
