General Overview		A charming, and intelligent man, Derrick is also a contradiction in many ways. Having been raised on a cargo ship, he simultaneously wants to connect with someone, but is also wary of settling down.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Derrick can be quite charming when he wants to be. This is both a blessing and a curse, as it causes almost as many problems as it solves. His high intelligence, attention to detail, and business savvy make him a fine cargo captain, though he often comes across as cold to those with whom he is dealing. A hopeless romantic at heart, Derrick yearns to find someone he can enjoy life with, though is very reluctant to give up his job. This leads to either disappointment, or long periods of distance.
