Emergency at Starbase 332

Executive Officer's Log
Stardate 65878.4

During our war game exercises between the Carthage and the Jackal, we received a Priority One message from Starfleet. We have been ordered to abandon the exercises and return to Starbase 332 immediately. Details were vague, but it appears that there is some sort of emergency resulting from and explosion of unknown magnitude.

Communication seems to be down since there is no further information available from the station. Emergency crews based on Archa IV are attempting to mobilize, but the entire situation is chaotic at this time. No one seems to fully know what is going on. The explosion could have been an accident, or worse, it could have been an attack.

The Carthage and Jackal are en route at maximum warp. For the time being, we are preparing for anything. We should arrive within the hour.
