Chief of Security's personal log, No idea what stardate it is.

I am currently en route back to the station, having spent the last few weeks on 'detached duties' for Starfleet Security. As it is I hope the station is still there.

Have to say, I started to miss that giant monstrosity we call Starbase 332. Wouldn't call it home just yet. Still have to clean up the station of it's unsavoury element.

Currently reading up on recent progress of the security department. Seems Siv has been acting up, not my area to comment on, but suspension no doubt. Ensign Lowther and Petty officer Jones seem to be in similar situation. Lowther for being drunk on duty and Jones for being late the fifth time this month.

Lowther has been a worrying case and I think it's time we send him to counselling, again. Man has lost his family in the last station attack and fought through one engagement to the next. Even though he received a battlefield commission in the last war, I have my doubt about him. Then again, man is never completely sober so he could be great if he ever sobered up. Not my call, but I am going to make a suggestion to his shift leader.

Jones is somebody who likes to sleep. And I wouldn't be surprised that he was assigned to again to the early shift while I was away, good man, but not somebody who you can get out of bed before 0800. That's the reason why I did assign him permanently to the night shift. I think I am going to intervene in that one, kine of my fault.

Seems we are receiving a few upgrades and a new batch of type 3 rifles. Great way to test them would be to schedule in the annual marksmanship test. I'll have a word with the master at arms.

It seems that I have to start to crack down again on the criminal part of the station. I'll have Blanc start his investigation, maybe we'll annoy them enough so I can stomp a few heads.

Just a few more hours and I'll be back on the station. I wonder if they missed me.......... then again I am not the easiest person on the station.

Then again I am lucky to be recording this log. But I am not allowed to explain that, due to the security nature of my last assignment. In other words SFI in action. Having worked now more closely with SFI on last assignment I can now say that most of the veterans are right. That being the case that most of them are selected on lack of intelligence or personality.

I have never worked with a greater bunch of half wits and idiots in my life and that is saying something I worked with the marines. I think the average marine officer would make a better intelligence officer then the idiots we got assigned with for this sector.

Ah well would be nice to sleep in a normal bed again.

Computer save and end log.
