So far Uneventful.

Sometimes it is nice when things don't go according to plan. When I arrived in my new home I had every intention of spending my time reorganizing my office in the main Sick Bay. However it seems that my assistance in this endeavor was not necessary, as the outgoing chief seems to have done all of the organization and filing. The system left behind was more than adequate , leaving me nothing to do but to set up my personal effects. This didn't take long, as I wish to set up my lab and garden space when I am slightly fresher.

The arduous task of reviewing the medical records will begin in the morning. I have already looked at the senior staff just to ensure that I have a handle on things. This has the added benefit of increasing their confidence in my skills as recognition especially facial recognition is important for socializing and developing trust with humans and humanoid species.

I think I will have to put together some sort of organizational scheme for my records, starting with those crew members who have active medical conditions or problems, those currently in sickbay, and those with chronic conditions that I might need to be aware of. The rest of the review will have to be delegated to my doctor's as it is too large of a project for one individual to take on. I'm unsure as of yet how I will divide it, however I'm sure something will come to me.

I am... nervous I guess is the best word to be in charge of such a massive operation, however I do think it will be extremely interesting even if this day was uneventful.I do remember that may you live in interesting times as often both blessing and a curse. It would not do to forget that.
