T'was the Night Before Christmas

It is just after midnight on what would be December 24 on Earth. From what I’m told, this day is commonly referred to as “Christmas Eve”. Although I am still learning about the holiday, the next few days are often filled with joyous gatherings and celebrations. Many of these celebrations surround the legend of a man named Santa Claus. A man who appears to be the very same Santa Claus has just landed a sleigh pulled by reindeer in one of our docking bays.

I’m still not sure why he has come here, or how he was able to fly through space in a wooden sleigh with no other form of propulsion other than his reindeer. But I intend to find out. In the meantime, I have no reason to detain him other than curiosity. I’ve asked security to keep an eye on him and make sure that he doesn’t cause any trouble, while I coordinate with Commander Drusus as to how we can learn more about this strange individual.

Does he mean us harm? Or does he simply wish to spread holiday cheer as he suggests? I hope to find out soon.
