Undercover Boss pt2

Posted on Thu Mar 30th, 2017 @ 12:23pm by Lieutenant Commander Craig Travis

Mission: Indomitable Will
Location: Lower Decks

After Harper left Travis figured it best to tail him and see where this story went. He was skilled in tailing someone who wasn’t worried about a tail. Trying to tail someone who had similar training was tough. Security officers all had similar quirks about how they went from one place to another. They rarely just directly went to where they intended. In this case Harper seemed to be pretty relaxed and didn’t seem to think anyone would be watching him down here. When Harper came to a lift Travis tucked into a Jefferies tube. There he would track the lift and see where it stopped. The advantage for Travis was on such an old station the lifts where pretty slow so he didn’t lose him when he changed floors.

Before he realized they were nearing a docking pad. Travis watched as Harper walked up to one of the Custom officers. There was an exchange and a handshake. After that Harper was taken into a storage room. Travis was hiding in the shadows trying not to let on that he was there. Things down here where quiet which was a good thing and a bad. With lack of traffic made it easy to keep an eye on them and not being detected. The bad were that he had to stay tucked in the shadows due to not much normal traffic.

Harper had been in the storage room for quite some time when a group of Klingons and a Caitian came walking to the storage room. Harper was seen at the door and greeted the group and invited them into the room. Travis thought he recognized some of them from Alexanders. He wasn’t positive so he just waited back to see what was going on. The thing that upset him was the custom agent that should have been checking them before they entered just stood there and did nothing.

The tail started to go cold when everyone walked in the storage room and shit the door. Travis hoped this was nothing more than something that could be easily is explained, but he didn’t like the way it was going down. Travis decided there was little more he could do tonight. He decided it was time to move on. Travis went to his room and got out of costume. He decided it was time to get back to his office and start in on the reports that would be needed.
