He's alive!

“Dr Barlow, we have a problem.”

Wytara turned to see two nurses standing there. “As long as you're not referring to the base being invaded, I'm happy to help.”

“Dr Summers asked us to find all the marines and isolate them. We found an error. We have a girl labelled as Major Jacobs, and she's not a marine. We've searched high and low but we can't find a male that matches the marine CO.”

“Then I suggest we start with everyone in quarantine, ICU, and every place you've got positive patients.”

“Do we have a....”

“A girl not a marine, has been identified as the marine co Major Jacobs.” Wytara stated. “You keep doing what you're doing, I'll start the search. I'm not telling Blackwidow, we don't know where he is.”

“Got it.” Winter stated. “All the marines who died are in here.” Winter indicated one of the empty wards. We lowered the temperature, there's a PADD hooked inside , with everyone's name, ID, and confirmed DNA. The marines still alive are in the palliative ward, all matched by name, ID and DNA, but then I wouldn't be surprised if someone got placed some where else. We had three in a coma moved to forensics.”

“I hope they were identified as alive before autopsy.” Wytara stated.

“We found him!” Came the bellow everyone wanted to hear. “He'd been put in with the infants, and someone had piled some blankets ontop of him. He's fine, alive and breathing, and he isn't positive.” One of the nurse's wheeled him towards Wytara and Winter.

“Take his blood again and retest him, if he isn't positive get him into a private room, and scan him from top to bottom, so we can identify why he's in here.” Winter instructed.

“We don't have any private rooms empty.”

“Then move someone out sterilise the room and get him in. He's a marine for hell's sake, we're not leaving him in the coridoor.” Winter bellowed. “And I want those scans now!”
