Mission: Weathering the Storm
Location: Akiashiro Deck

Deck 1403 Akiashiro Deck

The Security Officer stood from his console and moved to his Section Boss. "Station just went on Yellow Alert." Reaching across the console, tapped in several commands. Bringing up the feed from the Starbase Operations. "I've been monitoring the Fleeters. Just keeping tabs to see what may effect our Agreement with Fleet. This may be the cause of the Station wide Yellow Alert." Do we send out patrols to ... " To be interrupted by the announcement that came through the feed in the Akiashiro Security Section of the Deck.

"Attention all hands, visitors, and residents of Starbase Three-Three-Two. This is Captain Liarra Von. We have just detected an ion storm forming near the station. We currently estimate that the storm will hit the station in about two hours and fifty minutes. At this time we are engaging emergency protocols, and will be asking all civilians and non-essential personnel to report to the emergency shelters. Security officers will be leading everyone into position. Please only pack essential items only. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we evacuate the shelters once the storm has passed. We appreciate your assistance in this matter. Thank you. Von out."

The Security Chief gave a two second thought on the matter and began speaking through a intercom link, mobilizing Akiashiro Security to get the those living on the Deck moving towards the Core Section where it would be safest to weather out the storm. Turning to the Officer that alerted him. "Keep Monitoring." Giving the order, yet there was a hint of smile toward the officer for a job well done.

"Elder Akiashiro. We need to move everyone from to Core Section as there is a Ion storm heading this way. Already got Security alerting and moving Residents toward the core." Security Chief reported, waiting for the unusual twenty questions from the Elder Akiashiro.

"How valid is this information?" Elder Akiashiro looked through the monitor screen, looking displeased for the interruption of the meeting he was conducting."

"Enough to put the entire station on Yellow Alert." Security Chief looked back with a calmness and blank face that would do a professional poker player proud. "I've taken the liberty to began the evacuation of the outer residences and work areas."

Elder Raphael looked thoughtful. "Well done. Approved." The link ended as Raphael looked at his senior staff. "To the Core Section. This business meeting is put on hold."

Samanthia just put Mariah down for her nap and exiting the Mariah's room when the doorbell buzzed angrily. "Maaaaaawwwww!" Came the wail from Mariah as Samanthia headed towards the door, looking ready to chew some tail and spit nails for awaking her Daughter. "What?!" She snapped when the door opened and looking at a Security Officer.

The Security Officer eyes widen at the messed up hair in a crude pony-tail, food dribbled shirt and blue eyes that was sparkling with lightening. "Huh er...." Shocked at seeing Miss Akiashiro in such a state as he always seen her always looking her best no matter what she wore. "Uhhh..."

Samanthia growled at the Security Officer with a glare. "Spit it out I've child to put down for a nap!" She glanced at the partner and back to the first one that spoke. Meanwhile Mariah fussed in the background with a few yells and gibberish.

"Ma'am!" Second one spoke up after schooling his composure. "Need to evacuate to the core. A deadly Ion storm is heading this way and we have only have less that two hours before the storm hits."

Samanthia nodded her acknowledgement as the he continued. "Please check in with Desk Security there so we have full accountability of everyone on Thee Deck."

"Gotcha," Samanthia spoke already moving back into the Apartment to pack a travel baby-bag. Change of clothes for herself along with her kit for special emergencies. Being an ex-spacer herself. Knew Ion Storms were no fun to deal with.
