Mission: A Day in the Life
Location: Starbase / Lower Deck

In the region of the galactic south, Starbase Three Three Two, The rich came in their own personal ships to gather for business and other forms of entertainment. Whether on the nearby planet or on the base itself. Why chose a floating station that wasn't even centrally located in the Galactic South, but its reputation had spread throughout the sector that it was one tough place to attack. Even nature gave its best shot. Yet it was still there. After a brief disappearance, the Starbase returned to once again hold its spot in the thick of things. Probably a lot safer, even though it was focal point of many mishaps and misadventures. But It had survived due to the diligence those occupied and ran the vast station. When the 'Gathering' was passed to those, the place was agreed upon by a vast majority of those that received an invitation to attend.

Down on the lower levels of the stem of the Station a whole deck was cleared out of stored odds and ends that end up in storage to be forgotten. The stuff was broken down into base materials or recycled through replicator system for more materials for use in other replicators through out the vast station.

Raphael and Samanthia walked slowly through bustle of crews. Next to each other looking over the final arrangements of partition to form the many rooms that these 'Guest' were going to occupy for the next several weeks to conduct their business. "Definitely we'll need catering of refreshments and recreation for these guests of ours." Raphael looked over at Samanthia as she took in the vast forming of the Maze of rooms and corridors forming up to make this Cargo Storage Deck into a lavish home away from home place to conduct business. Even a temporary holodeck room was being installed near the Central Stem Power conduit to tap into.

"I can provide that. Just move the 'The Dive here. Place it near one of enterance/exits. Its been designed to move on a moments notice if it draws way to much attention from Fleet and Marine Security." Samanthia moved near the section of the Deck that held stacks of section portable walls which were dwindling fast. "It would take a less that twenty-four hours to do a complete move here."

"Entailing what?" Raphael followed her to enjoy her graceful movements, listening to her. Liking how quickly she could move one of her establishments. Specially the 'look the other way up to a certian point' type of establishment. Even though a few dead bodies turned up now and then. Which of course caused the 'Dive' to be moved to a new location down on the lower decks amidst the machinery that kept the station running, manufacturing parts the Base and ships that come here.

"Tables, chairs, the lighting, bar counter itself, and most important... " Samanthia turned to look Raphael. "... the stock. Not to mention allowing access to the place by those already patronize the place. That's where I get most of my labor in helping to move The Dive when needed."

"Miss Akiashiro! These are respected merchants coming here to have a private conference. They don't need to rub elbows with the scum of the station!" Raphael spoke a bit louder and harsher than normal. "I don't need this unwanted atte..."

"Most of the recreation for your business men come from those you're trying to keep out," Samanthia turned and glared at Raphael. "You don't want to piss off the local boys who you do ... " Samanthia spoke, interrupting Raphael, only to be interrupted by Raphael in turn.

"Business, just business," Raphael making placating movements with his hands and fingers spread. "You do have a point." Looking thoughtful as they both looked at their PaDDs which were linked to show the same. "This location be suitable for "The Dive'?"

Samanthia looked up and around the area. "It would be purrr-fect." Seeing the nearness of one of the exits. "I could cut down on the clientele area. This way less people could patronage the place." With practiced eyes, already designing the layout. Storage, bar, little dance floor, arrangements of the tables. "We could put your client entrance over here. Zeb can keep an eye on it to keep the unwanted from using the door."

Samanthia paced off the area as she drew in blueprints for "the Dive'. "If this works out. You may lease this off Base Management for the whole deck." She smiled at having 'The Dive' in another 'No Fleet' area. "I can have this spot for the Dive."

"I like the way you think. I'll pass this on up to get the paperwork rolling." Raphael tapped furiously on his Data PaDD. Then with a flourish tapped the send button. "Done! I may have to give up valuable cargo space for hauling fleet supplies here, though."

"You'll make more money than you would losing it." Samanthia turned to Crew Foreman. "This area is going to be 'The Dive's' new location. This is how I would like it set up." Showing the Foreman what she had quickly drawn and labeled.

Foreman glanced at Raphael, getting the nod from him, turned his attention back to Samanthia. "Easily done. It'll be ready to move into within three hours." Getting the blueprints from Samanthia's PaDD to his. He had occasionally patronage 'The Dive' and knew exactly what she needed and the separate entrances for both parties to use and not having to mingle, unless it was in the saloon area of the establishment.

Samanthia sent a memo up to Zeb about the move and gotten acknowledgement. Raphael and her moved through the maze of corridors and room. She listened to Raphael talk with various people that held key position within the Akiashiro Merchant Consortum. "You may want to draw upon Off Duty Security and Marines to beef up security. Just have them team up under Akiashiro Leadership. That way it'll give you more reserves to draw upon if needed."

Raphael and his Chief Security looked at her thoughtful. "I think that would be an excellent idea." Chief Security spoke thoughtfully. "You know a few?"

"There is a few who have a serious bar tab that needs to be paid off. I'm sure they'd jump at the chance to exchange a few hours to lessen their tab with the Dive." Samanthia spoke softly, letting the Elder and Chief decide. "And it wouldn't look good in their dossiers if those tabs ever came to light. I believe they can be very discrete. If not, just place them where there needs to be security, yet nothing important whont be seen or overheard."

Raphael and his Chief of Security watched her walk away on some errand. "I like the way she thinks." Chief muttered as they turned back to matters at hand.
