Truth be Told

Mission:
The Pak'Leth Problem
Location: USS Jackel / SB-332
Word spread fast at what was found aboard the Pak'leth ship and speculation drifted as the currents may please. Erica listened to the various conversations and debates going on. She knew that any ship that flew in space were at the whims of fate and be attacked for the stuff aboard the ships. But Federation weapons of high caliber such as torpedoes, meant that USS Jackel was gonna be called on for more patrols.
As of currently she pratically lived aboard the Jackel, learning it quirks of flight. Getting the lag time time down between input and responce of the ship from the helm. USS Jackel was a nimble ship at least in simmulation. But the truth will be told when she actually flies it for real.
Erica sighed as she placed the ship's helm on stand-by after another simmulated run at the helm, taking it off simmulation mode. She stood up and stretched, then left the helm seat and the bridge to go get some exercise and rest away from the ship as it was almost becoming a temptation to take the ship for a quick joyride.
Hopefully there was a mission looming on the horizen for the Jackel as she headed through the station. She smiled softly as she watching the other occupants of the station going about their business. She arrived at her quarters and entered. Pausing long enough to see if there was any incoming messages and as usual there was none.
Erica rushed through a quick shower and change of clothes, pocketing the combadge and out the door she went from her station quarters to join in the off duty time with newly forming friends from the Jackel. She scampered up the corridor to the turbolifts, listening to the rumors floating amongs the people waiting for the lifts to show up.
"Guns and lots of them!"
"I heard they found missile launchers and were being shipped to OCS."
"Torpedoes stupid! And it wasn't launchers. Just the dang torpedoes!"
"Whot's the difference? They both are launched and go boom when they hit something!"
Erica gave a soft chuffing giggle at the ensuing argument of whether it was missiles or torpedoes found. Both were quite dangerious in the proper hands. Getting dirty looks from the two arguing as she stepped deftly onto the upward bound lift to the upper decks and the Promanade.
