Melissa approached the Ready Room with the usual PADD in hand. She then pushed the doorchime.

Liarra set aside the latest report on Sojourner activity and looked up at her door. "Come in," she replied.

Melissa entered. "Hello Commander. How are we today?"

The commander smiled. "I'm doing just fine, Doctor. How are you today?"

"Sometimes I wish I was still running my small clinic on the Jackal, Liarra. We had a science vessel come in last night with a full quarantine onboard," said Melissa.

"I know just how you feel, Melissa. I remember back in those days all I had to do was aim the phasers. Now half of my job is bureaucratic. I don't know how Alex puts up with it. So what do we know about this quarantine?"

"Twenty Starfleet Officers, each infected with a type of pollen that contains some type of unique polyhistamine that contains pheromones that rival Orion and even Deltan pheromones." Said Melissa. "Their immune systems will eventually do away with it, but all twenty will be in our iso-ward for some time."

"I suppose it could be worse. Is there any concerns of outbreak in the stations general population, or are we pretty well contained?"

"The Banting locked this situation down pretty well before they docked." Said Melissa. "However, the ship, and my iso-wards will need a Baryon Sweep after this. Otherwise, we're going to have a crew that's too busy with themselves in order to worry about exploration." The Doctor sat down. "You ever thought about becoming a Risian?"

"Oh, I enjoy the occasional vacation, but I don't think I want Risa to be the way of life around here. I'll make sure
to add your Baryon sweep to the maintenance list. Just tell me when you're ready, and it will be a priority."
