Mission:
Insecurities
Location: Cargo Bay
The Cargo Master strode with purpose over to the crate. He believed that here was little to be gained by being suspiciously circumspect.
"You finished with all this stuff now?" He shouted across at the Security team working diligently through the inventory. "I got places to be and time is money. I don't suppose for ONE SECOND that Fleet will compensate me for all of this." he grumbled vocally. He figured that if he made a scene they'd want rid of him and get done the sooner.
The Security detail looked momentarily unsure: who had checked that crate? Could they get rid of the annoyance? Unsure, a bulky looking, bearded man began to answer. "Hold on and we'll -"
"That's alright, I have this." Sivity interjected. She spun on her perilously high heels and stalked back towards him. She was again very grateful for those heels given that otherwise she would have had to look up at him. As it was, she still did, but not greatly.
"Is there something that you'd like to say to me?" She asked him sweetly, with her hand very obviously on her phaser.
"This is outrageous!" He blustered. "I will speak to your superior officer. You cannot go about just threatening people like this. I saw what you did to those poor Ferengi, too!"
"Good." Sivity replied still smiling. She took her hand off the phaser and socked the man under the chin with the heel of her palm. she knocked him back into the crate and he fell down onto the floor. "Report that!" She spat at him. "Now get out of my way, unless you want this spike heel though your balls. I will TELL you when we're done AND if I hear another squeal out of you, I will shoot you." She promised him. Resorting to violence always felt good. however, she quickly became aware that all noise in the cargo bay had ceased. She turned around to see everyone looking at her. "Show's over people - unless someone else wants to argue with me? - so let's crack on here; we don't want to keep this BUSY man any longer than is necessary, BUT we will check EVERY item on the manifest, not just the 10% quota scheduled.
One of her crew piped up. "But Siv, we'll not get the other bays done."
"No, most likely not, but we'll get this one thoroughly searched." She replied.
The big, bearded man smiled. "So you want a lock down search of this manifest instead of an audit?" he clarified.
She paused as if considering the full weight of his words, but her decision was never in doubt.
"Manifest and Craft - search the lot. And let's have two of you to strip search this one. I'm sure that he understands it's all for the safety of those on the Star Base." She taunted.
