Pre-trip Dealings - Delayed!

Mission: Ill Tidings

Samanthia moved on down through the big starbase to The Dive. She rode silently on the turbo lift as she went over the gear she would need. Looking at the list, listening to the others sharing the Lift.

"She got flowers from him!"

"You know that that means?"

"No?"

"He's onna the hunt for a mate!"

"She'll have to work quick! He had a drink with another."

Samanthia smirked as they left the turbolift at their level. She leaned back against the railing as the turbolift continued on its way to her destination. She had better things to worry about than gossip of the Station's females. She wondered what it would be like to have a non-human lover.

"Miss Akiashiro? Our stop." One of the security men alerted her to her stop.

"Thanks," She smiled and left the lift, heading down the corridor towards the Dive.

She looked over the Dive as she made her way through it. Seeing Zeb at the bar doing his usual chores. It was a quiet time for the place as it was mid shift. The usual regulars that made the Dive their office. She returned Zeb's nod as she approached the bar taking her usual corner seat at the bar.

He approached and placed her favorite dink before her. "How's your schooling going?" He asked sitting on his stool behind the counter.

"Finished the last course yesterday and I'm off to check some leads out. It may be nothing." Samanthia smiled, "I do hope it turns out an exciting find."

"I'm sure you'll be successful," Zeb spoke as he kept an eye on the bar and patrons in The Dive. "I'll keep an eye on the place as usual."

"Thank Zeb. Treat yourself." Samanthia smiled and left the bar.

:: Deck 1403:: Akiashiro Hanger bay ::

As Samanthia entered the Akiashiro Hanger bay, Elder Akiashiro approached her. "First wife needed your shuttle." He spoke causing her to look over at the vacant spot where her shuttle was normally parked.

There wasn't much she could do, but wait for the return. She nodded and walked with Elder Akiashiro exiting the shuttle bay. She sighed as she continued on her way through the business section of the Akiashiro consortium.

Dang delays! She made a funny face as she should've left from the planet, instead of coming to the starbase. But that was past and she was here stuck on the station. The Dive was in good hands as was the Warp-12. She didn't look forward to going to an empty apartment.
