By Dawn's Early Light
Location: SB-332

Mr. Isotep looked out the viewport, looking troubled as he thought about Samanthia. Losing her as an agent, limited his places where Agents on the run could hold out for a few days off the record nor leaving a trail, till safe transport could be arranged. He had three Agents already messed up the Ritorian/Sojourners deal so far with minor sabotages and they needed a place to stay while passing through. She upped and disappeared when the Caitian took off for Cait.
He growled at his lack of efforts to make his move when she had lost her husband and children. He hit the bulkhead near the window as he turned away to pace some more. She could be frustrating at times, yet the best sleeper he had on the roster. He used her sparingly as he could to keep her cover intact. He had to find a way to interfere with that friendship before it grew into a relationship.

Zeb listened at his bar while working on polishing glasses and mugs between fixing drinks and serving those that like to hang out at the bar. He listened to the various conversations going on in the place. A few small arguments had broken out. A fight rose and died pretty quickly as the bouncers kicked the combatants out.
Poker games were in progress as the chips flowed from one player to the next. The players themselves moved from table to table like leaves in a wind to find that perfect game to win that fortune.
Booze flowed just as easily as a stream making its way downhill as coinage rolled into the coffers of the Dive. While working women easing the burdens of a stressful day. Providing conversation and a listening partner as they in their own way kept the booze flowing as they tapped into the coinage flow themselves, whether it was gifts or something of value to ease their life.

Orion Syndicate Leader sat with his thugs looking over the profits they made off of transporting the Refugees into slavery, quite willingly. He smiled and gave a laugh. "Who knew Refugees could be so profitable!" He passed out to those participated in Project Work Relocation, a bonus to their paycheck. "All nice and clean. Even the Federation can't touch us on this end as they (Refugees) went quite willing to their servitude." Getting a chuckle from his gathered henchmen.
"Nice touch, Boss!" One spoke up, sounding pleased.
"No bashed heads to investigate!" Another chimed in.

Business went on as usual. Transporting goods to and from the station about the sector. Even importing goods from the core worlds that were quite popular on the station. First Wife Tamarue was a bit disappointed that Samanthia was gone away from the station and missed her anniversary. She liked Samanthia as she kept her meetings with her, short and to the point. Kept quiet as the others clamored and pampered her. Yet Samanthia never pampered her, just treated her with respect of one equal to the next.
"Raph!" Tamarue spoke to him in private after barging into his side of the joint apartment. "I see your eyes are wondering again as our bed life dwindles. I approve of you to take Samanthia as a concubine. She is not of blood and family as we both know Death doeth separate family ties. Yet we honor her for bringing joy and happiness to our wayward son Nick. Giving him what he could not find here on SB-332!"
Ralphiel just looked at her stunned into motionless as he listened to his First and Only Wife speak. His eyes were slightly opened wider in shock. She had dared to travel into the realm of Men and Affairs. But then he was no saint in keeping true to his word of having one woman in his bed. For he had affairs after careful thought and research on the woman he was going to bed. "Woman!" When he regain the ability to speak. "I will not dishonor my son by bedding what was his!"
"Psshaw! I see the way your eyes light up when you see Samanthia." Tamarue snorted in her lady fashion. "I know you wander from time to time to time. Yet you come back revitalized, clean and without scandal from your wise chosen dalliances. You've honored me and our ancestors. It is my turn to show my love and honor to you, my only and one love." She stood up and left his side of the apartment, "Take her before you lose the chance to." With that parting shot, she exited her husbands presence.
Raphiel sat there staring at the curtain that slowly fell still, in thought. He had secret lustful ambition towards his Daughter-in-Law. But he didn't realize it had shown on his face. Now he had open permission and acknowledgement from Tamarue. He loved the woman deeply yet those urges to stray came and went. He did his best to be very discrete and made sure it would never come between him and his First an only true wife.
He wondered if Tamarue would be interested in threesome. He smiled widely at the thought and shifted position. He took a sip of his tea, business at hand before him, forgotten as new thoughts crowded his mind. He could feel the fire arise within him. "Woman!" He roared loudly, that carried his voice past the insulating curtains into the rest of the apartment dwelling. He stood up with ease. "Don't make me call twice!"
Tamarue smiled as she scurried back into her husband side of the of the dwelling. Once the curtains fell back into place providing privacy, she disrobed, letting her kimono drop to the floor to pool at her feet. "Yes dear?" Softly with a twinkle in her eyes and a sly /shy smile upon her lips....

Machinery of that kept the station habitable; whirred, clunked, ticked and whooshed filling the vast level with sound. The dim lighting glistened of wet floors and vapors escaping at random points lent an air mystery and haunt. Then the random voices breaking into the sounds of machinery as crew passed through the vast cavern of active machinery.
A group of men of undetermined species gathered and made angry gestures as they harshly whispered out a plan of nefarious activities. Equipment changed hands along with Latium. With final words of "Don't be late." One strode off into the gloom, then the others scattered carrying what they were given.
