Expected yet unexpected overdue arrival

As promised the goods Samanthia had ordered from the Caitian Homeworld were delivered, what was unexpected was the 19 rather large containers of which most were filled with a very wide array of fabrics, silks and more, some with beverages including the alcoholic variety, one teamed with seeds of the many flowers S'er'in'e's mother grew in her garden, the last was filled with some of S'er'in'e's personal effects during his time in training. All this took up three cargo holds in the freighter, the cost must have been high but a delivery was a delivery and a job to some.

Time was pressing so the cargo was unloaded and the ship departed. Now all that remained was Samanthia to inspect and claim the cargo and direct its destination. A message was sent to her asking her to attend the hanger to do just that.

Samanthia taking it easy in her s and S'er'i'ine's Apartment on the Akiashiro Level when the incoming message icon flashed on her screen in its usual spot along the border of her console screen. She tapped it to open it and read it. Thankful for the distraction.

She smiled as she read the message. Her smile grew wider as she read the shipment manifest that was sent to her. It was way more than she had expected. It also had more of S'er'in'e's stuff along with it. She quickly sent a message back to the Station Cargo Master to liaise with Akiashiro Cargo Master for the transfer of the cargo that came in.

Samanthia welcomed the break in the paperwork of the ledgers and left Warp-12 lounge. "Patch me through to Major S'er'in'e. This is Samanthia, his wife. I need to talk with him." Unfortunately since she wasn't Fleet and didn't have a combadge, she had to use phone network the station had and that meant dealing with his Secretary.

S'er'in'e wasted no time to answer when the notification came through his Mate sought to speak to him. "My Mate, is everything alright?" S'er'in'e knew Samanthia would only call if it was important and his view was the same should he need to contact her.

"Hey hun! Our shipment arrived from Cait. Plus there is a lot of your stuff in with the cargo. I will be going through it in the Akiashiro warehouse. When you get off duty, you can swing by the warehouse on Deck 1403. See what you want to keep and stored." Samanthia sounded excited. "They sent wa-ay to much fabrics than I paid for."

"I will head directly there when I finish here my Mate." S'er'in'e replied, his tone light and happy, her voice just like her presence around him bringing him a feeling of warmth and security to his life. It came as no surprise that there was more than expected as the recent visit would have prompted his parents into buy and shipping large quantities of things to the couple since they did not know when they would see them again.

"K, K,. Love ya hun." Samanthia hung up and took off to the station's cargo master to sign for the cargo and make arrangements for the transfer. Entering the cargo bay, she looked around for the Andorian Security Guard. Then realized she had taken off to another assignment elsewhere. She got the attention of the Cargo Master and they both went to see the cargo in question. She made sure everything was in order. Made arrangements for it to be transferred via cargo transporters down to Akiashiro Deck warehouses. She smiled her appreciation for the quick service. By giving him a sample of the Caitian cloth. Then headed on down to Akiashiro Deck with quick stop at the Lounge to pick up the remaining books and DataPADDS to finish up at home.

It wouldn't take long for S'er'in'e to conclude his duties down in the Hanger, simulations, repairs, evaluations and testing of the remaining fighters for structural weakness of fatigue. Departing not long after he headed to where his Mate would be no doubt sifting through the cargo in eagerness to see the wares.

Samanthia had majority of the bolts of cloths being placed on the big shelves for viewing and the empty cargo crates sent over to the corner to be reused with Akiashiro outgoing freight. A few crates that were untouched and addressed to S'er'in'e were nearby. She was talking with Aikiko on selling a few of the bolts of cloths to help cover her purchases and the extra that had been shipped to her.

S'er'in'e arrived soon later to see Samanthia talking to a member of the family, he couldn't recall the name at the time but his stride didn't break. He came to a stop bowed as required to both and took his place next to Samanthia. "Is everything alright my Mate?"

Samanthia pointed at the excess Bolts of cloths that had been sent. "That is way more than I ordered. Plus there is a crate that is marked for you." She pointed out the crate to him. "Look through it as I deal with Aikiko here to sell the extra cloth." Discretely introducing Aikiko in conversation.

Aikiko nodded in greeting with a soft smile at the big Cat. "Greeting Honored S'er'in'e. We'll get together to discuss business for more Caitian Goods. Depending on how well the cloth sells." She was looking sharp in her business attire. Pleated Skirt reaching an inch above her knees. Blindingly white blouse with a black bowtie and a matching vest to the dark blue skirt. Black patent glossy high heels with a white sheer nylons. She returned his bow with one of her own, showing respect.

Samanthia attired the same, minus the bowtie and vest, but in soft yellow skirt and mary janes. She took a step closer to his side and gave him a quick hug as she leaned against him briefly.

"As you wish." S'er'in'e went to see what was in the container marked for him, unsure as to who sent it until he opened it. Items from his youth, a few old toys, some results from exams, certificates from training, clothing but one thing stood out. It was an album of S'er'in'e during his young years as a baby and seemed to go on until the time he joined the Caste's Academy system. He smiled at the pictures as he looked at how small he was compared to how big he is now. So prideful, eager, full of zeal to succeed. He walked over to Samanthia again. "A gift, for you." He offered the album to her, wanting her to share in his youth's moments.

Samanthia smiled as she accepted the gift from S'er'in'e as Aikiko took her leave with an appreciative looks at S'er'in'e. "Does this mean, I gotta share mine?" But knowing she would show him hers. Baby pictures through the awkward transition of teenager to adulthood. Her friends and activities from various stages of life. Her being accepted into the Fleet Academy, graduation from Medical School of Psychiatry, Various pictures of her time in service with fleet and of her first husband and twin girls. But that would be for later when she had time to look through his.

"Have you decided what you want stored and brought to the apartment?" She looked up at him as she hugged the Album to her.

"I have, I have indicated such to a dock worker who is awaiting your word of approval to store or ship as required." S'er'in'e spoke as he stood close to her.

She smiled up at him as she turned as she approached the designated Dock worker. She gave him the limited access arranged through Security and moved from the warehouse to the residential area of the Akiashiro Deck.
