There is no way on this star base that I am ever going back to that deck again. If I do, I'm taking someone with me or at least a phaser...one bullet or two? I couldn't believe I managed to get myself lost...twice and it wasn't just a little lost either. I was completely screwed. Only to be told later that I could have used the emergency teleport system. Corporal Washington was it? Damn she throws a decent punch. I'm going to be proud of that bruise for a couple of weeks I'm sure.

Both times I became lost I feel was due to the lack of landmarks, I should really have taken a brochure when I had the opportunity or at the very least studied the info-text much more thoroughly. Hopefully neither of us will ever speak about the situation ever again. Scout gets lost in own base... ugh the 9th would be laughing until the following the year and even then only to settle down to giggles. How could I have been so stupid?

Never mind that. I thoroughly plan to thank Washington for her help, I'll be making the arrangements to have her as my spotter soon. I need someone who can keep up with me but most of all, I need someone who won't back down so easily thus I think she'll fill that role really well. We'll see, depending on if she's up for the holodeck exercise... speaking of which I'm going to need to arrange some time on there.

Now...where did my tea go?
