Mission:
Brave New World
Location: Security Office
ON
Kes paced the floor of her non-existent office. She had to come up with a plan to get to the boss of one of the minor gangs on the station. She couldn't just waltz into their turf and not expect something. Like she was scared, but still, she was wise enough to know she had to have a plan.
"Computer, give me a location frequented by..." she started, supplying the warlord's name and the gang's name. They all had a place to hang out or to just unwind. Something that the Syndicate ran, usually.
What it meant for her was the fact that she would go in and then...who knew what would happen then? She knew what could happen: she could destroy the bar of some unsuspecting owner, she could be in a real fight which would get her sent to Sickbay, or she could just be ignored. That was what she really wanted: to just be ignored.
The computer dinged and supplied the name. Alexander's was one. The other one was not one she had ever heard of. Alexander's was one she could deal with. But it was the second one that bothered her more. It was basically new. It was owned by someone she thought might be a
"yes man" for this gang leader. Either way, it would be harder for her to maneuver in because she was going in blind.
But, still, she was a known thief, staged for the underworld's benefit with all property being returned to the owner in secrecy, a woman with a short to non-existent fuse on her temper and lightening fast fists to go with that temper. It was a start.
Now it was time to get down to the nitty-gritty of this "invasion": planning how to get inside without attracting any attention to herself and if she did attract the smallest amount of attention, how to keep it at that level.
"Computer, give me the plans and the best ways to exit said establishment with a minimum of trouble." With that, she sat down to plan. She had roughly a week and still had to do her patrols of the hot spots. This had to work.
