Protest? Riot??

Fredrick and Eric looked at each other as Frederick wrapped an arm around Samanthia's waist, picking her up and carrying her back towards the service corridor's enterance. Eric glancing over his shoulder at the crowd as it turned ugly, watching their backtrail.

Eric was going to have a serious talk with Boss Termi'Aldo as this was suppose to be a simple gathering of civilian to chant and protest the growing presence of the Starfleet personel.

As with any mass gathering of people there will be outbreaks of temper or some idiot gets it into their head to resort to vandelisms to get things going down the wrong path.

Group leaders quickly moved on the hotheads that were more prone towards violance and vandelism to quell that quickly. Getting things calmed down again, but the damage had been done with a few broken plate glass windows in some business that still caters to the fleet.

Several places along the Promanade, signs of graffiti had appeared, some crudely drawn while others were a work of art. But the theme was the same "Fleet go home!" "stick to your assigned decks" "Weapons are not the answers to everything!"

Murmering shifted from one sections to the next. Several of the Turbolift's had their doors jambed open to prevent them servicing the rest of the station and used as bases of operations for impromtu meetings of faction leaders and rabble rousers.

Several wounded Fleeters were escorted off the deck, so they could get medical attention for themselves. It was a powder keg with minor outbreaks of minor beating of fleet personel that made the wrong choice of appearing by themselves, occasional acts of vandelism and throwing of trash about the place. And of course the self appointed speakers kept reminding everyone the actrocities of the "New Regime" of the fleet that was assigned here.
