Reggie listened to the Scientists. They were definitely worked up about the issue. Soil heating up and improper pollination grids... He didn't get all that at all. What he did understand was one section of the Botanical lab was to damn hot. He checked environmental and all the humidity and temps were fine. But the ground was warm to the touch..

He asked them to give him a few minutes with the problem and he would get back with them. The Scientists weren't to happy about that at all, they had heard that several times before. He ran a diagnostic on several decks in the next hour and was getting closer to the heat source he presumed was causing the disturbance in the lab.

As soon as he entered the passageway to the Energy Accumulator he could feel the heat. He stopped and called for assistance immediately. The First damage control team made it in less than Five minutes. The team was well lead and had found a cooling generator had been overheating. Hence the transfer of heat to the lab above it. Issue solved. After explaining it to the Lab techs he decided to hit his office for a quick review the the Lift project.

Seemed it was going very well and almost completed. All lift stations were running at Ninety Two percent during shift changes.. Not perfect but certainly a lot better than before. He sent a report to Captain Gunning to review when he returned from his trip to Cestus Three. Still so much that needed checking. He had a request from several merchants to enlarge space in their stores. Most would have to wait until plans were checked and the OK given by the boss.. One report caught his eye. It was reported as a loose containment field on a hanger deck. That's was something you didn't hear of everyday.

The hull maintenance program was working well to. He was getting some additional structural Engineers assigned. He didn't ask for them but they were on their way to the station. He continued to the equipment manifest and saw some pretty heavy machinery with them. Scanning down he observed the Captains signature on the request... Earth moving equipment? He made a note to ask about that one at their next meeting.
