Starfleet Intelligence Padd Report

Mission:
Picking Up the Pieces
Location: Private Quarters Major Griffiths
Timeline: Current
After her meeting with the Captain and other Senior Staff was over she headed straight to her quarters and opened up a secure line direct to her Starfleet Intelligence contact on Earth.
=/\= Hello John, how goes the spy business? =/\= She asked with a smile.
Looking left and right furtively =/\= As well as can be expected, I assume you have a performance report on that Padd our R+D boys invented? =/\= He asked.
She shook her head in resignation =/\= Yes John, for what I need it for it is perfect, but I do have some suggested modifications for SFI field Operatives and deep cover agents=/\= She began.
He sat back and raised and eyebrow =/\= I see, lets hear them =/\= He said.
Unknown to Griffiths John had one of those R+D bods in his office out of visual range, the researcher was called when John knew who was calling now the other person was ready to take notes.
Clearing her throat =/\= for Field Agents I would suggest an enhanced encrypt function, extended life power unit and extended comms range, also putting in a Padd self destruct would not go amiss and a slicing ability shoyuld also be added. The Encrypt suggestion was mentioned because if field agents were captured they could type in a single command code which would totally wipe the Padd memory and make it useless to those who want our Agents info. AS for the deep cover operatives you have, those functions plus a more powerful self-destruct utility and a built in cyanide hypo, one use thing, with a delayed reaction long enough for the compromised agent to set the self-destruct on the Padd before they die from the poison. It could also double as a sabotage device in a pinch, so what you think? =/\=
John sat back and out of the corner of his eye he saw a smiling R+D bod nodding emphatically at such suggestions, where he initially wished the Marine Major would not interfere in intelligence matters, her field testing the special Padd was logical and now her suggestions were sound and he wished she would change departments, she had a skill for Intelligence thinking, but she was a Marine and was too loyal to her ways, so sighing heavily he sat back and steepled his fingers.
=/\= Your suggestions are sound and will be implemented in the next version of the Padd, you go ahead and keep that one, as I suspect it is serving you well, again Major Thank You for your report, Sanderson out =/\= He responded and his image was replaced by the Starfleet logo.
Sitting back with a sigh "Intel, he would love to have had me say yes to joining SFI, but I like irking him" She said to herself as she stood and walked over to the replicator "Raktajino" She said as the Klingon coffee appeared in her replicator.
