Mission:
By Dawn's Early Light
Location: Cait
The fighter secured away and the two of them inside the house for the night S'er'in'e had changed from his uniform into a comfortable two piece attire. The day had brought with it mixed results and feelings but it was however now in the past. Dutifully he made sure everything was in its proper place for when Samantha was ready for bed. The night however was still very much young and upon returning to the lounge area he asked. "Would you like something to eat or drink or may I prepare you a hot bath?"
Caitian's were much larger than Humans and the baths were massive in comparison. Samantha already knew his talent on food and drink and so he patiently waited for an answer.
Samanthia looked at S'er'in'e, eyes wide as she sat curled up on the settee like couch. "No!" A bit harsh, then her voice softens remembering Caitian society is way different from hers. "I can do that for myself. I'm not old and feeble, nor crippled. Just sit down and relax, will ya? You've been hopping around as if your feet was on fire. If I want something, I can get it for myself." She took several calming breaths. "What would you like to do? Go visit family?"
S'er'in'e was slightly taken aback by Samanthia's tone. "As you wish." He answered and took a seat and relaxed as best he could. "My family lives in the next province, almost an hour by flight." They would welcome seeing him though he like any son worried about the ritual '20 questions' his mother would subject Samanthia to.
"Tell me what they are like?" Samanthia leaned forward as she shifted into Indian style of sitting with her legs crossed. exposing a lot of her legs as the panels shifted to exposed them. "Cause I know my parents would like to hear every details of my adventures as they call them."
It came as no surprise that S'er'in'e saw her legs and took in the curves and grace her legs had to offer. "My Father is a proud male, serving in the military most of his life until injury forced his retirement. He has since been an engineering consultant for the military space division. My Mother as any I would guess is protective of me, being the only offspring to survive from a total of 5 she was a driving force in my younger years. I did not get to see her much during training but I felt she would be proud of my accomplishments. She mostly cares for my Father now."
Samanthia listened to him speak, "My parents are retired from the service and living on the Hawaiian Islands. Not sure, but I'd have to check. Is there anything I should be aware of as not to offend them as I probably did with the Matron Elder of Cait?" She spoke in an easy listening tone.
"My parents are not held to the standards the Elder is, be yourself and they will accept." S'er'in'e replied. "You may expect my Mother to question you about me and us, not in the same way the Elder did but I would suspect she only wants what is best for me. Show that you are that and Mother will be content."
"That I can do," Samanthia smiled at S'er'in'e. She stood up with easy grace and moved to the kitchen area, passing by S'er'in'e. She had a tease of the scent of flowers. She looked through the kitchen's shelves and pantry, pulling out some meats that were safe for eating raw. Vegetables and breads. A couple of platters from another shelf and a cutting knife. She began to prep some Dagwood sandwiches that needed both hands to hold when taking a bite from. Thick slices of meat for S'er'in'e, thinner slices for herself, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes.
This gave her time to think about more personal matters when it came to S'er'in'e. She really liked the big Caitian as he made her feel special by his servitude, yet it could be annoying as hell. She gave a soft blush as she thought about their one-night-stand back at SB-332. She couldn't believe that she could do such a thing with the ease she did it and feel no regrets afterwards. She hummed softly finishing up the sandwiches. She carried them back to where they was sitting and gave S'er'in'e his and returned to her seat. "Dig in." Picked up her sandwich and took a healthy bite of it.
Seeing the meal prepared S'er'in'e began to select from what was available. His time so far on the Homeworld already reminded him of why he left. The cultural demands, the requirement of his traditions changed him to conform. He could already see that in some way it was frustrating her by her surprising outburst earlier. He wondered if this was all a mistake, or perhaps too soon, Samanthia knew only a little about him after all.
Samanthia seeing S'er'in'e pick through the sandwich, "No no! Eat all at once like I'm doing. Its called a sandwich. Hand food." She rolled her eyes as she shook a little with laughter. "When food is prepped like this. You use your hands. That is why there is no eating utensils. You can prep them in advance and eat at yur leisure. Or anywhere you like to." She smiled at him. "Like right now. You have a lot to learn in how to prep food for all occasions." Even though his culinary skills outshone hers by a long shot, it was the simple ways he needed to learn for a person who was on the go. It was odd she was chastising a Caitian that outweighed her, moved faster than she probably could and shred her to pieces, yet she felt safe in his presence even when chastising him.
He watched her eat while rebuilding the sandwich made for him, once done and holding it as she was he took a bite. Fangs and all on display as he bit at it. One slight issue was that one bite for him was clearly half the sandwich. Such a tiny meal for a Caitian but wondered if that was even so that perhaps smaller bites were best.
Samanthia chuckled a bit at the antics of S'er'in'e. "Maybe I should use bigger pieces of breads to make your sandwich." She took another bite, showing her white teeth, having fun with S'er'in'e. She could barely chew the food from the big bite she took.
S'er'in'e smiled, swallowed his food before speaking. "Having trouble?" He played. He stood up and passed her towards a cabinet behind her and opened it. As he passed her though he tried something. Making sure her sandwich was out of the way his tail danced over her shoulder, across and up the side of her neck before settling across her bust to stop between her elbow and side in a very light but obvious embrace. He made two drinks for her. "Something sweet for the lady, something dry for the daring." He didn't question her ability, just knew most liked a sweeter drink to a dry tasting one.
"Wheet," Samanthia spoke through the food in her mouth, after swallowing some to be able to speak without spraying food particles everywhere. She felt his tail getting a bit daring. "Mmmmmm..." Giving it a pet and grabbing it gently to move it to safer location. What a time to have her mouth full of food.
S'er'in'e made no effort to hide his amused mood as he freed his tail and sat down again. His posture was more relaxed and that too showed, he wondered if she was ticklish when she moved his tail or she was uncomfortable with the act. She could be hard to read at times. Laying in silence he patiently waited, for her to recover from an over mouthful or to finish eating.
Samanthia finished the mouthful of food and swallowed with relief, smiling. "What time you want to see your parents?" Setting the remains of her sandwich to the side. She got comfortable on the settee, laying on her side and fixing the lower panels to keep her decent. "I've almost forgotten what it is like being on a planet." Smiling slightly as she relaxed.
"It will take us almost an hour of travel, after the initial rush of flights and movement would be ideal for minimal issues." He answered. "Is there something you wish to do while we are in the province? There is a market for fabrics, materials and the ingredients for the drink you like also come from there."
Samanthia nodded, looking interested. "I'd like to check out the market place. This ought to be interesting." She stood up, grabbing her dishes and took them into the kitchen area. "I do love the feel of the materiel this dress is made of!" she called back to S'er'ine in a pleasant voice that was traced with excitement.
"Caitian Silk weave. Lightweight breathable material. Lace twine and mesh for support. For males more fabric at the shoulders to permit freedom of movement." S'er'in'e answered. "The Market tomorrow has a variety of fabrics you can choose from and colours." It had been long since he last went to the market. "Tomorrow I'll take you for a Caitian fitting, our way is truly...remarkable."
"I am looking forward to it, Ser," She came back in the room and ruffled his furry head as she settled next to him. She leaned against him, with a soft distant look, yet still focused on the here and now. She felt content feeling his warmth and movements. "Would you like to share my bed again?" Softly as she looked at him.
A smile formed on his face, her weight light as it was resting against him was pleasant and comforting. "Yes, I would very much so." An unexpected offer but also a reassuring one. His fear of losing her was riding a little too high in his mind for his comfort but her offer helped ease it. He looked down at her and as some felines might, he brushed his cheek against hers.
She brushed her cheek against his furry one, enjoying the softness and warmth of it. "Come on ya, big Cat, otherwise we'll be sleeping in the common room." She stood up and gracefully headed to her assigned sleeping quarters. Once inside, a bit of clothing she had concealed went flying to land on her carry-all transporter buffer. Then undid the bow tie at her waist on the side, letting the outfits lower panels fall to the floor to reveal she had already removed her panties. She took the top part off and let fall to the floor. She was thankful for her highly active schedule that keep her figure looking good, but not skinny as if she dedicated her life to being skinny.
S'er'in'e followed as he stepped over the disguarded clothing, her figure was amazing and to suit his clothing took just as little time to remove as hers.
He paused briefly and ducked down to his hands and feet to then shake vigorously to expel the trapped heat in his fur and free up any clumps of crumpled fur.
Samanthia glanced at S'er'in'e as she crawled into her bed, making room for him. Not bothering to cover up as he had already seen her, as she waited for him to join her. Once he was in bed with her, she snuggled up against him working her way between his limbs. She liked the way his fur felt. Soft and warm. Who needed blankets when you had a big warm Cat to snuggle up against.
Fade to black..... Finish.
