Dr. Daniels began to come around, as one of her nurses were scanning her with a tricorder. "Ow... My head." She stated.

Nakano's head was swimming. Somewhere at the very back of his mind he could see a girl he once knew. She was sitting in a field, singing some song or other. The odd glimpses of a Starfleet ceiling began to float in and out of the scene. He couldn't discern whether he was in the field or on a starship. It all seemed to merge together.

She began to drag herself up. She then moved to several empty biobeds. "Dammit, they took Ysir and Lathen."

Mignon was walking down the corridor to her office when she heard a commotion in sickbay.

She hurried to the doctor. "What happened?"

"The Pak'leth I admitted did not take too kindly to being arrested counselor." Melissa stated as she rubbed her head. "Counselor, word of advise; never enrage a Pak'leth."

"I will remember that, Doctor," Mignon replied.

"I'll need Ysir and Lathen back here quickly, they are the ones I was keeping for additional treatment." Melissa stated. "I had both of them scheduled for a series of spinal treatments due to tissue breakdown in their spinal column. Another side-effect of radiation exposure. They have to be brought back here soon, or their condition will get worse. They were already on their last legs when their ship docked. If they don't get back here within the next three hours, they'll die."

"I think that's probably the least of our worries," Nakano said with a pained note in his voice, "if they're free, they're going to be trying to get off the station. I suppose we can count ourselves lucky that their crate of a ship isn't going anywhere."

He coughed a long hacking cough before continuing, "If they don't know it's not spaceworthy, they might go for what they know. It might be the only way to catch them."

"Can you send out a station-wide alert?"

Melissa moved toward a console. "Attention all Security Personnel!" Her voice resonated through the commbadges of the base's security. "We have had a security breach in the Medical Center. This is a station-wide security alert. All docking and undocking requests have been rescinded by order of the Chief Medical Officer and Starfleet Security."

"This is Ensign Nakano. I suggest you don't deviate too much from your associated patrol routes. You'll need to make sure they don't catch onto you. Watch out for traps!" He shouted as he pulled his rifle onto his back. "We've got to catch up to them. They're going to have a head start on us by now."
