Mission: Ten Little Diplomats
Location: Warp 12
Timeline: After 'Somewhere Else'

Warp 12, the sign above the large archway proclaimed as Seion walked past it.

It must've been the sixth time he'd been this way, but he'd never taken the opportunity to glance inside before now. He slowed down and watched as a gaggle of people swarmed through the doors, before making a decision to follow along inside with them.

The Vulcan looked slightly lost as he walked past the tiny, dispersed afternoon crowd and made his way up to the higher levels. His hands were held behind him as he ambled up the stairs at a leisurely pace. He hadn't bothered to throw on anything other than a short-sleeved shirt, and the meditation pants he'd completed his kareel-ifla training with. He managed to fit in better than if he were wearing the stuffy, elegant robes of his people,

though the pointed ears gave him away all too easily. He walked over to an unoccupied section of the room near a window, overlooking a mountainside. Holoprojectors. Interesting. Seion arched an eyebrow down at the peaks and slid himself into the indented sill, resting his back against the wall and peering out of the window calmly.

Samanthia moved through the patrons in Warp-12, enjoying the banter and sharing jokes. She had her hair tied back in a loose ponytail, wearing a dress of soft pastel colors in various shades of green. Passing by a Vulcan in somewhat drab clothing near one of the holoprojected window. She approached him with a soft smile, "Hi! Welcome to the Warp-12 Lounge and Club. You finding things to your liking?"

Seion turned his head to observe the woman who had approached him and gave a deep nod. "Affirmative, miss. Is there a purpose for this scenery?" he inquired thoughtfully, tilting his head up at her. He indicated the window with a slight gesture of his hand, speaking of the forestry and mountain lines below. He didn't sound accusatory, as if his next words would deem the entire thing illogical. He simply seemed curious.

She looked thoughtful for a long moment, studying the Vulcan and then spoke softly, "It's to bring a slice of home to the far reaches of space where it is sometime get boring to look out into the continued nighttime sky of stars and such." Smiles softly, "If you become a regular patron of this place and have a favorite place where you sit. I can arrange it to be like the homeworld of Vulcan if you like?" Smiles at him with friendly warmth of greetings. Samanthia glanced him over quickly and looking away around the immediate area to see how things were going while she listened to him

"I do not require it, miss," Seion said amicably. He blinked up at her before rising to his feet. He gave the woman a small bow. "I will not keep you from your customers," he said unobtrusively.

Samanthia smiles with humor, eyes twinkling with merriment. "Never! I have a staff to take care of them and you." Pauses for a second or two and speaks again, "Forgive my manners, I am Samanthia Akiashiro. Proprietor of this place. Welcome to the this establishment 'Warp-12'." She smiled warmly to him.

"I am Seion," the Vulcan replied with less flourish. He picked up a glass of water from a woman passing by with a tray who had offered it to him, and stood silently with his drink. He drained the remainder of it in one go, and the same woman walked by to collect it. Well, that was efficient. Standing empty handed once again, he adopted his usual posture and folded his hands behind him, peering down at the young woman. "This establishment is novel," he commented.

Samanthia smiled warmly, "Thank you... I try to be original from the rest and to provide relaxation and fun to the people that reside here on the station." She looked thoughtful for a few moments. "If you play musical instrument, there is an ad hoc band getting together to put on performances." Letting him know there was more to this place.

"I have very little musical talent, I assure you," Seion admitted with a minute twitch of his lips. "I am certain it would be grating to the remainder of your patrons."

Samanthia smiled. "The patrons here don't mind. They love raw talent just as much professional talent as long as you have fun and get enjoyment is sharing your culture to the rest of the station personnel."

"I am afraid that the key word there, miss, is talent," Seion quipped mildly. He stepped back slightly. "I thank you for your time. It has been a most fascinating experience," he said, blinking at her thoughtfully before he gave her a bow and turned on his heels.

Samanthia smiled. "You're welcome. And feel welcome to return at your leisure." Stepping back and turning to move on to make her rounds of the place.
