Mission: Lie Of Omission
Location: Showroom, Traxx's Personal Spacecraft Emporium

Most of the shuttle bays and hangars on Starbase 332 were owned and operated by Starfleet, though there were a few exceptions. One of those was Traxx's Personal Spacecraft Emporium. Spanning two large shuttle bays, Traxx's was the home to the station's only shuttlecraft dealer. His two bays were segmented to serve as showrooms. The larger of the two connected bays was his main showroom, filled with a number of new spacecraft and his premier customizations. The second bay was reserved for used shuttles. While the latter was the bulk of his business, the showrooms were laid out so that potential customers would have to make their way passed the more expensive merchandise before reaching the older models.

Hangars along the sides of each showroom were stored the more average shuttles, while the center of the large bays were reserved for the flashier, more expensive models. Throughout the room Traxx had placed kiosks for browsing specs for his merchandise. Two small holosuites were connected to the sales offices to allow customers to look at options that were not available on the showroom floor. Overhead tractor cranes enabled Traxx's employees to move the ships around, sometimes even prepping some shuttles for launch. Traxx liked to prepare custom orders for his customers and place them in the launch area. He found that customers were more likely to make a purchase when they were able to see other customers take off with their purchases. On this particular day he had a very special custom shuttle awaiting its new owner: one fully custom Romulan shuttle, painted gray.

Jordan Gunning prowled around the exterior of the ship. It was much bigger than he had thought - he'd never been terribly good at measuring things out in his head - but it looked the part. It was imposing but not menacing, understated but not subtle and most importantly, it wasn't a Federation footprint, meaning that he'd enjoy much greater freedom of movement across borders.

He reached the rear access hatch which extended down out of the bottom of the craft and wandered up the steps into a spacious little cargo hold. He didn't envisage needing it too often but you never knew what a client would ask for so having the ability to haul cargo was handy. "This is impressive so far, Traxx."

The little Bolian was delighted to see his customer enjoying the work they had put into the shuttle. Top notch customizations were among his biggest sellers, and he did not want his reputation tarnished by an unsatisfied customer. "I'm so glad you think so, Commander. We like to provide only the best here at Traxx's Personal Spacecraft Emporium."

The two men walked out into the main living area of the shuttle, the largest alteration from the norm. A tiny engine room lay straight ahead, not somewhere Gunning saw himself spending a lot of time, a small office off to the right and a sleeping area to the left. It was tastefully decorated and didn't feel as spartan as many personal shuttles did. Worth the money.

"I hope you like how we arranged the living area. It sounded like you were going to spend a lot of time here, so I wanted you to be as comfortable as possible." Traxx gestured over to a console near the desk. "We've routed the holoemmitters through to this console. You should be able to load a number of programs into the system, though the capabilities are more limited than you would expect from a dedicated holosuite."

"That should do nicely." Jordan had included them in the specs, in the unused area next to the docking doors, to ensure that he could generate different equipment he might need but Traxx had managed to integrate them beautifully. To look at it, you'd never know there were holo-emitters there.

"I'm glad that it meets your approval, Commander. I took a personal interest in this one. It's not every day that you get to customize a Romulan shuttle," Traxx replied. He did appear to be genuinely excited.

"Well, I imagine it's not every day you get a customer who doesn't try to barter." They had reached the cockpit of the shuttle - the part Gunning had been dreading since his flight skills were ropey at best. He ran his hand over one of the rear consoles which seemed to be configured as a personal computer with a library system displaying. "I take it this can tie into whichever library database I need it to?"

Traxx considered Jordan's question. "I suppose it can." He thought a moment and attempted to rephrase himself before Gunning could respond. "There's certainly the capability to access any library database you need it to, though databases open to the public will certainly be the easiest to get into. I suppose what I'm trying to say is this console is a terminal that will get you into whatever you can get into. The hardware is not the limitation."

"That's all I needed to know, Traxx." Gunning slapped him heartily on the shoulder. "That's all I needed to know."
