Mission: Ten Little Diplomats
Location: Promenade Decks

With a station this big, not all of the business is conducted in the many meeting places such as resteruants, pubs and cafe's that dotted the promanade, nor the Antreium like parks that make the place more bearable and enjoyable for liasions of all nature, but the dimmly lit corridors that frieght and other personel use to get from one place to another quickly to avoid the crowds and the roving security forces.

Frederick moved down one such corridor, eyes darting aboutr him as he took in the various automated cargo sleds moving from one place to the next in their assigned programmed lanes and other personel, both fleet and civilian, moving along with focus on their tasks, giving Frederick a cursary glance as he was giving them as he moved with purpose and and air that he belonged there. Coming to a cross corridor, he turned right and glanced behind him, seeing that none were following him, made his way deeper down the poorly lit corridor to rendevious place.

"No no..I tell you he aint gonna show up." Snarled a paniced voice up ahead.

"We'll give him a few more minutes and then we leave. It'll be his fault for being late." Another voice spoke up, much calmer, used to these type of meetings.

"You can stop waiting. I'm here," Frederick spoke up, softly not to spook the nervious one as he came into view. "Have you gotten the clearance to board our freighter?" Coming to a stop before the two Fleeters.

"Yeah, right here. Do you think she'll go out with Commander Jordy?" The one that was used to this type of meetings, showing relief that Frederick had made the meeting and his buddy was calming down.

"Of course she will. I have stuff on her that if she wants kept secret, she'll comply," Frederick, calmly checks his backtrail to see if he hadn't been followed. Seeing the corridors still clear both ways, smiled softly. "Now the Clearance... You have it?"

"Ri-Right here!" Abit to loudy from the newer person that this was his first time in secret meetings beyond the normal conference room type of meeting. "She better or ..."

He was interrupted by his partner, "Calm down man! And be quiet. You promiced to let me do the talking. Now hand over the PADD." holding out his hand for it.

Frederick waited patiently, seeing that they wasn't armed like he was. Keeping a close eye out for any unexpected guests as he watched the two.

The nervious partner handed over the Fleet PADD over to his much more calmer partner. "Everything is in order. All you have to do is insert the names of those who is going aboard the Freighter."

"Have her show up at the Observation Deck 256 and wait on the south wall bench. Wearing something very nice. Easy to remove." Turning to face Frederick with the PADD in hand as he typed in commands and then on another PADD at his belt. "If she fails to please Commander Jordy. Those clearances will be invalid." Holding out the PADD with the clearance to Frederick.

"Scince when have I let you down?" Frederick smirked abit, taking the offered PADD. "When does she need to be there?"

"Tonight around 23 hundred hours." As the calmer one handed over the PADD to Frederick. "Just insurance like as we arranged." Then held up his hands to forstall the counter remarks on trust, seeing the expression on Frederick's face. "And I've always came through for you."

Frederick nodded and waited for the two to leave, before taking off himself, using a different route from the meeting place. Now came the hard part of getting Samanthia to comply. He had his trusted back up for this type of liasions, but Commander Jordy had his eyes set on the newest addition to the Akiashiro Clan and she was only married into clan. A widow and still prime for marriage to another to take her from the Clan. Yet she was proving to be an asset already in bringing in wealth from her establishment to the clan with her innovated ideas.

He frowned as he secured the PADD in a pouch on his waist belt, moving along smartly, whistling a jaunty tune, signaling another clandlestine meeting with another client, hoping that the person had the necessary proof to get her complete compliance.

Even Frederick was curious as to the information he was going to get. It could be a serious boon in bringing Samanthia inline with the rest of the Akiashiro Clan. But he liked her free spirit and didn't want it to be squashed like the rest of the females. He had to balance this very carefully as this was a very delicate situation and operation he was running.

"What brings a surface dweller into these part of the station?" A Fleeter had moved up next to Frederick and walked along side of him, finishing off the last of the tune that was being whistled by Frederick.

"Just getting away from the insanity of the crowds," Coming back with the proper counter passwords, Frederick glancing at the man briefly.

"Seams like everyones interested in our gal," The fleeter spoke also glancing at Frederick, taking in the small bulge where a weapon might be.

"She's making a name for herself within this community and clan. Need a little background on her to fill in the missing bits and pieces of her history is all." Frederick replied smoothly, letting the other man lead him to a back corridor office.

"Yeah," The man spoke softly, moving to a file cabinet and opening a file drawer and rummaging around the sheets of paper, odd part or two, PADDS of all sizes and repair. "Make yourself at home and dont mind the clutter."

Frederick frowned at the messy, but well used office and quickly moved a stack of cargo straps to the floor on top of an already cluttered crate that was being used as a table. "I see you dont get inspected down here much." getting a chuckle from the man.

"Naw, they're busy babysitting the foriegners, Aliens and What Nots to get where the real work takes place," The man smiled as he pulled out a Data-PADD and looked it over. "Tell Sammy that we still have an open slot waiting to be filled." sitting on the only cleared spot on the desk corner, but still sent manuels and shipping orders and maintenaince forms to the floor in a cascade of paper to scatter and get underfoot like several other layers of paper that graced the floor.

Frederick kept his face neutral at that bit of information, waiting to see what this price was going to be. "I'll pass the word on to her when I see her next." He stayed alert, "I hope it is worth the latinium I'm spending on this."

"Oh it is, my friend," The man smiled greedily as Frederick pulled out two small bars of pressed latnium, "S-31 hates to lose such a good sleeper."

Frederick felt sorry for Commander Jordy after hearing that remark, handing over the latinium and taking the offered padd from the man. "Well, I'm sure you'll find a replacement soon enough." Making mental note to keep a closer eye on Samanthia and this Man. But as it goes, he'll just disappear into the background and never be sean again. "It's been a pleasure doing business." This time Frederick left first. Changing directions quickly and losing himself amidst the workers plying the corridors, checking his backtrail for any followers.

"Crap!" Frederick knew he was playing with fire when S-31 was mentioned. ~~ Sweet Samanthia? An Agent? No way! ~~ he thought as he made his way to his office and secured the door to read what was on the PADD.

After an hour of reading, he leaned back in his chair tapping the PADD Before him, in deep thought. He felt sorry for Commander Jordy as this wasn't gonna be nice time for him. But then Raphiel, the Clan Elder, was expecting him to come through for the clan with the clearance to get aboard their frieghter.

Eric and him were going to have a serious talk with Samanthia about her past and how it will effect the future of the clan. At least Samanthia was already trained in the arts of espoinage by the best organization that very rarely came to anyone's attention. Even feared by other star empires to include their own...
